A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

Get Ready for Summer at the Taste of Joliet

Start your Summer off at the Taste of Joliet on June 23-25th at the Joliet Memorial Stadium. This event gives you a great mix of live music, food, drinks, and fun at the carnival! There will be live performances from-

Heading to town for the show? You can take a train to see Train! Both Metra and Amtrak stop at the Gateway Center in Downtown Joliet.

There are plenty of hotel options for every kind of budget as well! You can live it up at Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel or Hollywood Casino, or find a reliable option near the mall and I-55, like Home2 Suites Joliet/Plainfield, Fairfield Inn & Suites Joliet North, Comfort Inn North - Joliet, Hampton Inn by Hilton Joliet I-55, Best Western Plus - Joliet, or Motel 6.
